I am a nurse, wife, mother, make-up artist, writer, poet, singer, former Music Therapist, AFSP volunteer, and an individual with a Mood Disorder. The latter will not define me, however. I am also a survivor of suicide loss, having lost my brother to suicide. This site is dedicated in loving memory to Jefferson Joseph Blanton-Harris (Joey). The blog is meant to share ideas and concepts that have helped me cope with my mental health issues, as well as to share pointers about the things in life that bring us joy. This site is FOR YOU, and I would love for you to share your pointers on beauty, fashion, spirituality, mental health, etc. as well.
